Over the past two decades Golf for Kids and its feature charity, Help Fill A Dream, have built an incredible partnership. Together, they continue to maximize the generosity of our community into meaningful impact for local kids. Thanks to your generosity Help Fill A Dream has never had to say no to a request for support from a child in need.
For the past 23 years Golf for Kids has brought together sponsors, donors, golfers, volunteers, and community advocates in support of kids and their families. Golf for Kids is so much more than a charity golf tournament.

Cause

Since 1986, Help Fill A Dream has been supporting families from Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands whose lives have suddenly changed due to their child’s diagnosis with a life-threatening / critical condition. To date, they have supported over 3,500 Island children in 87 communities. While filling Dreams can be life changing, day-to-day support provided through the Family Assistance Program offers families a lifeline. Picking up the practical and financial worries allows parents to focus on the most important thing: the health of their child.

Golf for Kids started out with a desire to raise money to help one little girl who needed a hand. Twenty-four years later, through the unrelenting commitment of organizers, sponsors, donors, golfers, partners, and volunteers, Golf for Kids has grown to become one of BC’s premier fundraising events, raising over $8.5 million for local charities. Help us Keep the Drive Alive to 25! (25th Anniversary).
